How to Make Money Transfer?
- Send an SMS to 122 short number in the following format: the Ucom number you want to transfer money to (eg. 055 XXXXXX), [space] the amount you want to transfer.
- Dial *122#, hit the call button and follow the instructions.
- Go to Ucom Mobile app in your smartphone and enter the Ucom number you want to transfer money to and the amount you want to transfer.
Who Can Transfer Money?
All customers of Prepay tariff plans (except One tariff plan subscribers), Monthly and Postpay, as well as Ucom Business subscribers can transfer and receive money. One tariff plan subscribers can only receive money transfers.
- Prepaid Subscription
Ucom Prepay subscribers (except One tariff plan subscribers), with positive balance on their accounts can transfer a one-shot minimum amount of 1 AMD and a maximum amount of 5,000 AMD. The cumulative amount transferred during one calendar month should not exceed 20,000 AMD. If you are a Ucom Prepay subscriber, you can transfer money to all Ucom Prepay, Monthly and Postpay, as well as Ucom Business subscribers’ personal sub-accounts. After the transfer at least 100 AMD should remain on your account.
- Monthly subscriptions: Dolphin, Panther, Butterfly, Lion, and Postpaid
All monthly subscription customers with positive balance on their accounts (this is not the monthly amount included in the tariff plan, but the positive balance on top of the monthly fee) can transfer a one-shot minimum amount of 1 AMD and a maximum amount of 5,000 AMD. The cumulative amount transferred during one calendar month should not exceed 20,000 AMD. If you are a monthly subscription customer, you can transfer money from your positive balance to all Ucom Prepay subscribers, to Dolphin, Panther, Butterfly, Lion and Postpay subscribers who are not under the common account with your phone number, as well as to all Ucom Business subscribers’ personal sub-accounts. If you have acquired a Gold or Platinum number with 1 or 2 years commitment, you can use Money Transfer service after having consumed 50 000 and 100 000 AMD accordingly.
- Ucom Business
All Ucom Business subscribers with positive balance on their personal sub-accounts can transfer a one-shot minimum amount of 1 AMD and a maximum amount of 5,000 AMD. The cumulative amount transferred during one calendar month should not exceed 20,000 AMD. If you are a subscriber of Ucom Business, you can transfer money from your personal sub-account to those of Ucom Prepay, Monthly and Postpay subscribers.
Service Fee
Money Transfer is a chargeable service with a fee of 20 AMD per transfer, irrespective of whether the transfers from your Ucom number are carried out in Armenia or from abroad. It is accessible from your mobile phone without any additional activation needed.
If you are a Butterfly subscriber, then 20 AMD will be charged from your monthly fee or, in case it’s consumed, frօm additional recharge. If you are a Dolphin, Panther , Lion or Postpay subscriber, then 20 AMD will be charged from additional recharge only.
If you are a Ucom Business subscriber, then the service fee will be charged form your personal sub-account.
Other Conditions
- You can perform up to 5 Money Transfer operations within a day and receive up to 5 Money Transfers.
- If roaming service is activated for your number, you can receive Money Transfer, but in order to send money you will have to dial *122#, hit the call button or *122*recipient’s phone number*credit amount#, hit the call button.
- The SMS service of money transfer will not be available when the roaming service is activated.
- Please, double check the recipient’s phone number before proceeding with the Money Transfer, because in case you have transferred the amount to a wrong number, there will be no possibility to get it back.
- Ucom bears no responsibility for the transfers made to a wrong number because of the subscriber’s mistake.
- The validity of your Ucom Prepay card will not be prolonged after you received money through Money Transfer.
