Thanks to the Mobile ID service, you can quickly and securely identify yourself and sign documents electronically. The service can be used by individuals with a valid identification card* and a Social Services Number (hereinafter referred to as SSN). If the SSN is unavailable, a certificate confirming the absence of the PSN must be provided.
*The Mobile ID service is also available to displaced persons and those granted temporary protection status in Armenia, by presenting a passport (exclusively with code 070 and a certificate of temporary protection (refugee status)). Services can only be provided when both of these documents are available simultaneously.
You must visit the Ucom service center, present your passport or ID card, and replace your current SIM card with a mID SIM card. The replacement fee is 500 AMD. If you are not a Ucom subscriber, you will need to obtain a new mID SIM card by paying only the corresponding fee for your tariff plan. The mID SIM cannot be a digital card (eSIM).
After completing the authentication process and signing all required documents, you will receive the mID SIM card. After receiving the card, insert it into your phone and follow the instructions to set your personal PIN code.
Once all steps are completed, your Mobile ID service will be activated.
IMPORTANT: During the signing process, your phone must be unlocked to receive the necessary SMS or Push notification for entering the PIN code.
To obtain/replace a Mobile ID (mID) card, activate the service, or cancel it, you must personally visit the customer service center of Ucom CJSC. These actions cannot be carried out based on a power of attorney, including notarized ones.
