In order to port your number to Ucom, you should simply fill in the online application form and wait for the Ucom specialist to respond. After completing the application, within 1 working day, our specialists will contact you to explain the mobile number portability procedure. The application can also be completed at any Ucom service center by submitting a valid identification document. After completing the application, anything else will be done by our specialists.
Do I need to tell my current operator about porting my number?
There is no need to inform your current operator. Our specialists, in a prescribed manner, will organize the transfer process with your operator.
How long will it take to transfer my number to Ucom network?
Usually the number porting takes from 1 to 3 business days or is done within the period you specify in the porting request, which cannot be less than 3 business days. After completing the application in a Ucom service center you will be provided with: - a new Ucom SIM card with a temporary number, on which, after the successful completion of the number transfer process, your permanent phone number will be activated. Before that, you can also use your SIM card of the current operator.

How can my friends using services of my previous operator know that I have changed my operator?
While calling you, they will hear a beep, informing they are calling another operator's subscriber. The beep will disappear if they become Ucom subscribers too. If desired, callers can turn off this beep sound by dialing *149#. In addition, you can check whether the number you are calling is on your network, by dialing the *148# phone number.
Can I continue using the previous tariff plans and services after porting the number to Ucom network?
From the moment you have completed the transfer, you stop being a subscriber to your former operator and all your existing tariff plans and services are terminated. Instead, you will have an opportunity to choose from the attractive and varied Ucom tariff plans and services the one that is the most convenient to you.
Can I use the positive balance on my account after having ported my number to Ucom?
If your current account has a positive cash balance, it will not be forwarded to your new Ucom account in the result of number portability process.
Can my current operator refuse my porting request?
The number porting request may be rejected if:
- The number is not registered in your name,
- The number listed in the porting request does not exist,
- An earlier application is being processed,
- During the last 12 months, the number has been ported twice,
- Some discrepancies exist in personal data.
In case of refusal, you will receive a short message, which will indicate the reason for the application's rejection. In such cases, Ucom specialists, taking into account the grounds for rejection, will provide a new number porting request on your behalf, if you have given such authorization, or will assist you in submitting a new number porting request.
Will the data on my SIM card be kept after having ported my number?
When porting your number to Ucom, you will receive a new SIM card, with which you will replace your current card, when the number porting process is successfully over. In our service centers, we will help you transfer the information stored on the current card to the new Ucom one (this service is available at the Northern Avenue service center).
Can I port my number if I have not paid my debts to my current operator?
Yes, you can move the number regardless you have a debt or not. However, if you port the number, your financial obligations to your previous operator will not stop, and you should fulfill them to avoid the adverse legal consequences.
Can I cancel the application for porting my number?
You will be able to cancel the number porting by visiting the Ucom service center during the relevant period:
- If your number is to be ported within 3 working days, you will be able to cancel the application before 18:00 of the application submission date.
- If your application has been completed by an active sales representative at the specified location, you can cancel the application before 18:00 on the day after the date of filing the application.
- If you have chosen a later date for porting the number in the application, you may withdraw it by 18:00, on the last working day preceding the chosen porting date.
