Who can use the Mobile ID service?Who can use the Mobile ID service?
Mobile ID service can be used by:
- Individuals who are citizens of the Republic of Armenia and have a valid identification card* and a Public Services Number (hereinafter referred to as the PSN). In the absence of the PSN, a reference on non-receipt of the PSN should be submitted.
- Foreign citizens who have a document confirming their residence status (temporary residence card, permanent residence card, special passport) and a PSN.
*The Mobile ID service is also available to displaced persons and those granted temporary protection status in Armenia, by presenting a passport (exclusively with code 070 and a certificate of temporary protection (refugee status)). Services can only be provided when both of these documents are available simultaneously.

You need to visit any of Ucom sales and service centers, present your passport or identification card* and replace your current SIM card with a mID SIM card.
The cost of replacing the SIM card is AMD 500. If you are not a Ucom subscriber, you need to get a new mID SIM card, paying only the amount of the corresponding tariff plan.
After passing the identification and signing all the necessary documents, you will receive a mID SIM card.
After receiving the card, you need to install it in your phone and, following the instructions, set your personal PIN code.
Upon completing all the steps, your Mobile ID service will be activated.
*Foreign citizens must present a document confirming their residence status (temporary residence card, permanent residence card, special passport).

During the signing process, your phone must be unlocked to receive the necessary SMS or Push notification for entering the PIN code.
To obtain/replace a Mobile ID (mID) card, activate the service, or cancel it, you must personally visit the customer service center of Ucom CJSC. These actions cannot be carried out based on a power of attorney, including notarized ones.
